Celebrating 26 Years of Food, Fun and Family Entertainment
Sponsored jointly by the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce & Industry, City of Elmhurst, Elmhurst Park District, Elmhurst College and Elmhurst Jaycees, Elmfest is celebrating its 26th Anniversary in downtown Elmhurst in 2008 from June 12-15.
Our award-winning community festival features a variety of food, business and not-for-profit vendors, great musical, theatrical and dance entertainment on two stages and fun-filled family activities such as the Park District’s Playground/Exploration Center and Jaycees Carnival.
Expanding back to the horseshoe-based layout used through 2005, Elmfest is located on York Street and Addison Avenue from First Street to Second Street; on First Street (Spectacular Midways Carnival) from York to Maple Avenue; and on Schiller and First from York to Commerce Parkway.
Harris Bank is the new exclusive Silver Sponsor of the City Centre Stage on York near Second, and Suburban Bank & Trust and Superior Air-Ground Ambulance are teaming up as new Silver Sponsors of the Entertainment Center and Food Court on Addison between the Schiller Walkway and Second Street.
Elmhurst City Centre, the downtown business association, will have a major presence near the City Centre Plaza promoting its merchants, events and programs.
